Thank you for your Wild Things registration!

We can’t wait to explore with you.

Making it to this page means you have been automatically added to our list of registrants. You will not receive any other confirmation email regarding your registration.

An informational email with detailed directions will be sent to you two (2) to three (3) days before your program (typically on Wednesday afternoon). If you register the morning of an outing, you may not receive the info email, but please feel free to meet us at our posted location anyway! All Wild Things emails will be coming from kate@wildwhatcom.org or communityprograms@wildwhatcom.org. Consider adding these addresses to your email contacts list to avoid our emails ending up in SPAM.

Wild Things runs every Friday AND Saturday morning from 9:30-11:00AM. Please help us spread the word about this program, and feel free to bring friends even if they aren’t registered. We will always have a physical copy of the Acknowledgement of Risk and Liability form available to sign in the field, and are always thrilled to have new friends join us!

Be Prepared

  • Outing location: Check out the calendar below to see where we are exploring this month.

  • What to wear: Weekly explorations over the past ten years have taught us how to dress appropriately for our whack-a-doodle weather. We've developed these Essentials of Layering as a guideline for families. We like to dress like sheep in as many wool layers as we can find. Key takeaway - cotton clothing is rotten in winter!

  • What to bring: Individual hand sanitizer, snack, water bottle - and your curiosity!

Cost

This program is offered for free with a suggested donation of $5/person or $15/family.

Cash, check (payable to Wild Whatcom), or donate online.

Reminder: Weekly registration opens every Friday for the following Friday outing and every Saturday for the following Saturday outing and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
