Volunteer Process

All volunteers must attend a volunteer orientation prior to volunteering.

For Field Volunteers (outside with our participants) we host volunteer orientations up to three times per year based on need and capacity.

For Committee Members, we host committee orientations once or twice per year. In the meantime, let us know if you have any questions after submitting your volunteer form.

  • Joint Field and Committee Volunteer Orientation | 12:30-2:00PM

    • Saturday, January 25, 2025

    • Saturday, March 22, 2025

    • Saturday, May 24, 2025

For Board Members, individuals must serve on a Committee for a minimum of three months before joining our Board of Directors to support on-boarding and relationship building.

Orientations are located at our office at 1015 Girard Street across from a WTA bus stop. Have accessibility needs or requests? Don't hesitate to reach us as info@wildwhatcom.org or (360) 389-3414 | 711 (TTY/WA Relay)
