Fire safety considerations and fire respect
Ingredients - fire triangle
Three stages of firewood - tinder, kindling, and bulk fuel
Harvest and construct kindling bundles
11:30-12:00: Lunch
12:00-12:15: Game Break: Fire Metamorphosis
12:15-1:45: Fire Construction Shapes
Demonstrate and create fire construction shapes: Cabin, triangle, and lean-to
Review fire triangle and stages of firewood in creation
Light with kindling bundles if no fire ban in effect
1:45-2:15: Free Explore/Game Break
